What we stand for

Principles, not posters.

These are the values we hire by, promote by, sometimes fire by — and absolutely build the company around.

Our mission

Make professional branding and marketing accessible to every small business.

Most small businesses can't afford the kind of brand, marketing, and design help that large companies take for granted. They hire untested freelancers, get template-driven work, or simply go without — and their growth suffers.

Our mission is to close that gap. To put senior designers, strategists, engineers, and production specialists within reach of any business, regardless of size or budget. To replace the "talk to sales" obfuscation of legacy agencies with transparent pricing. To replace the lottery of marketplaces with stable, accountable in-house teams.

We're not building a marketplace. We're not building a tool. We're building the all-in-one team a small business deserves but cannot otherwise have. That mission is the only thing that decides what we add, what we cut, and how we price.

Our vision

A world where no entrepreneur is held back by the cost or complexity of looking professional.

Picture a baker in Detroit launching a second location, a personal trainer in Phoenix scaling to a small studio, a tech founder in Boston going from idea to first hire. Each of them deserves a brand that holds up, a website that converts, marketing that brings real customers — without becoming a marketing manager themselves.

We want a world where small business owners spend their hours on what they're great at, not piecing together vendors, freelancers, tools, and platforms. Where the gap between a Fortune 500 and a five-person company in terms of brand quality, design output, and marketing reach is no longer a gap at all.

That world is not built by one big tool. It's built by a team that's actually accountable for every piece — design, copy, code, production, distribution. That's what we're here to be.

The six values

What we hire, promote, and fire by.

🛠️

Value 01

Craft

Every deliverable is the best version we know how to make at this moment in time. Not the fastest, not the cheapest — the best. We assume the person on the other side will look at it for years and judge us by it.

In actionSarah re-drew a wordmark four times after the client signed off — because she found a kerning issue. Shipped at 11pm.
In actionThe production team rejected a 5,000-card run for a 1mm registration drift no client would have noticed.
Won't doShip the first version that meets the spec just to hit a deadline.
Won't doUse a template and call it custom.
🔍

Value 02

Clarity

Plain English, real numbers, visible decisions. No jargon screens, no asterisks, no surprise fees. If a customer has to ask "what does this mean?" we wrote it wrong.

In actionPricing page shows every tier, every add-on, every bundle — no "contact for pricing."
In actionMonthly reports lead with "what we did, what worked, what's next" — not a 40-slide chart deck.
Won't doHide fees in fine print or bury cancellation behind a phone call.
Won't doUse industry jargon to sound smart.
💛

Value 03

Care

Every customer matters. Every teammate matters. Every supplier matters. We don't have "VIP" lanes — we treat the $19 business-card customer the same as the $50K enterprise contract.

In actionReshipped a single damaged box of cards overnight on our dime — no questions.
In actionSwitched a customer's designer without making them ask twice when the match wasn't right.
Won't doOutsource customer support to a script-reading call center.
Won't doTier customers by spend and quietly under-serve the smallest accounts.

Value 04

Speed

Time is the small business's scarcest resource. We move fast — fast confirmations, fast turnarounds, fast fixes — without trading craft for it. Default to action.

In actionEvery order confirmed by a real human within 60 seconds.
In actionStandard print turnaround is genuinely standard — not "standard*" with a $50 rush fee for normal.
Won't doCut quality corners to hit speed targets.
Won't doLet customer messages sit overnight.
🤝

Value 05

Honesty

Tell the truth even when it costs us the sale. If a customer doesn't need the premium tier, we say so. If we can't hit a deadline, we say so up front. If a competitor is genuinely better for a niche use case, we'll tell them.

In actionTalked a customer out of a $4,999 site they didn't need; sold them a $1,499 one instead.
In actionRefunded a paid-ads month when results fell short — before the customer asked.
Won't doUpsell tiers a customer doesn't need.
Won't doHide problems and hope the customer doesn't notice.
🔥

Value 06

Boldness

Original work, real opinions, sharp design. We'd rather propose something that gets a strong reaction than something safe that gets a shrug. Brand work is for standing out — that's the whole point.

In actionPitched a brand identity that was 30% bolder than the brief asked for — client picked it and grew 4x in a year.
In actionRecommended a category-redefining name over the safe one the founder was leaning toward.
Won't doDesign forgettable work that copies a competitor.
Won't doAvoid a strong recommendation to keep everyone comfortable.

In the work

How these values show up.

Values that aren't tested aren't real. Here are three places customers see them in action every day.

In the quote

Honest scope, lower of two reasonable tiers when in doubt, no add-ons we don't think you need.

In the proof

Craft-first review by a senior designer, not auto-approval the moment a file passes preflight.

In support

Real humans, US-based, empowered to fix any problem on the first message. No tickets, no scripts.
