Real Metallic Gold Foil · Hot Stamped
What you're ordering
The Gold Standard is real gold foil — not a CMYK approximation, not a metallic ink dot pattern. We hot-stamp actual metallic foil into your chosen substrate using a heated die, the same process the world's most exclusive private bank cards use. Light catches the foil from every angle, the reflection is sharper than print, and the card stops people mid-handshake.
Choose from six gold tones — antique, champagne, bright gold, rose, matte, or holographic. Stamp into 32pt suede (soft-touch luxury), 48pt cotton (premium thickness), or 48pt black-core sandwich (gold edges visible on the side of the card stack). Files reviewed by a senior prepress designer before press; reprints are free if anything ships off-spec.
Printed in the United States with soy-based inks, FSC-certified cardstock options, and recyclable packaging. Free reprint guarantee on any off-spec foil or finish.

Frequently asked
Is this real metallic foil, or printed metallic ink?
Real foil. A heated die transfers an actual metallic foil sheet onto the card surface. You'll see and feel the difference — there's no dot pattern, the reflection is true mirror-finish, and the foil sits slightly raised above the paper.
What's the difference between the three substrates?
32pt Suede is our default — a soft-touch matte feel that's thick enough to feel premium but flexible. 48pt Cotton is 50% thicker, with a fibrous natural texture (looks white through the foil holes). 48pt Black-core sandwich shows a visible black stripe on the edges of the card — striking against gold foil.
How long does production take?
Standard is 2 weeks (12–14 business days) from approved file to shipped. Rush (7–9 business days) is +$47–358 depending on quantity. Expedited (5–7 business days) is +$74–540 depending on quantity. All include free prepress review.
Can I add foil to both sides?
Yes — gold foil placement adds $15 for both-side stamping at the 250-quantity tier (scales with quantity). You can also mix metallic and standard CMYK printing on either side.
What if my logo isn't vector?
Foil requires a vector path so the press die can be cut. If you upload a raster logo, our prepress team rebuilds it as a true vector (AI/SVG/EPS/PDF) for a flat $99 prepress fee — final vector files are yours to keep.
Minimum order?
250 cards. We can't go lower because foil-stamping setup (die-cutting the metal stamp + tuning press temperature) has fixed costs that don't make sense to amortize across 100 cards.
